Test of Outer Pipe Surface prep machine at ExxonMobil UK

All the members from the Steering committee, and then some, had joined the group on this rainy day at ExxonMobil’s refinery at Fawley, UK. The new product, JetBlast4 were presented and demonstrated on a 3” and a 4” pipe. The JetBlast4 machine performed well and managed to blast the pipes 360 degrees using a vacuum blast system. As a fully enclosed, environmental, safe and efficient solution, this machine produced a speed rate of 15 linear cm / minute. (9 linear meters / hour)

The field test was another success and milestone for this Steering committee as well as for the people of Pipeline Solutions AS. The next step is now to make a closed loop system to make the whole process 100% environmental friendly and most cost efficient.
